This is the funniest street sign I have seen in Seoul. We had to scramble for the camera and pull over to the side of the road to snap this picture. Thankfully, we didn’t run over any slow moving elderly in the process.

Konglish for elderly is “silver,” as in silver town and silver channel.

I love that they’re holding hands. So sweet.
If those were my elderly parents, it would be the dad pulling the mom’s hand so she can’t go somewhere.

Where is this? That’s hilarious! I like how in Korean it spells out that it’s an “Elderly Protection Zone” AND to “Protect the Elderly” as thought they are fair game everywhere else. To be fair, that’s how I feel when I see similar signs protecting kids in the US.
Not only do they look sweet holding hands (as Kushibo points out), they also look quite dapper in silhoulette. Too bad it’s not color, so we could see the mixture of prints, plaids, and florals.

Hmm. Is it true?
